Family Zingarelli creates this delightful blend of Sangiovese and Syrah (hence the name "Sasyr"). This wine has compelling complexity and flavour with a nice light to medium body. Brilliant ruby red in appearance from a mix of ripe red and dark berries: cherry, raspberry, and blackberry. These berries provide freshness to both the palette and bouquet, yet are balanced by nuances of spice (pepper, clove, and oak from time in French barrels). Pleasant to drink on its own but pairs well with medium cheeses and rich meats.
