On the nose, there are milky coffee aromas and fresh citrus, layers of butterscotch and honey. On the palate, there are flavours of juicy orchard fruits like pear, apple and nectarine. There are hints of black pepper and spicy cedar which sit in the background. The finish is slightly nutty, with more hot oak and a generous dollop of caramel.
