On the nose, this whisky is oily and quite robust. There are aromas of smoky bacon as well as hints of sticking plasters and some toffee. There is also aromas that are a touch tropical with a little papaya and coconut ice, then a hint of nougat. On the palate, it is sweet and very rounded. There are almost hints of white chocolate along with a very interesting smoke flavour. Near the end, there are notes of vanilla, and butterscotch angel delight. The finish has flavours of nutmeg and cardamom along with a very good length.
