Villa Wolf Pinot Noir begins with pleasing aromas of cherry, cola, strawberry, cranberry, red liquorice and a little oaky spice. On the palate, it is soft and easy to drink and features similar flavours to the nose with a bit of oaky spice leading into the dry, long finish. Aging in French oak barriques gives the wine a smoky depth and a nice touch of earthy tannins. It’s an excellent, approachable red wine for everyday dining. Best to have with Beef, Cured & Smoked Meat, Lamb, Pork, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, and Smoked Salmon.
